I completed my undergraduate studies at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1983 and finished my compulsory service in 1985. I completed my military duty in 1986. In the same year, I passed the specialization exam for the Department of Otolaryngology at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. I worked at Baylor College in Houston, USA, during 1989-1990. After completing my specialization in 1991, I started working as a specialist doctor in the Department of Otolaryngology at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine.
I took my Central Foreign Language exam in the English Department. In 1994, I became an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology and Head-Neck Surgery at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. In 1995, I worked at St. Luke Hospital in the USA on laser surgery, hair transplantation, and grafting. In 2000, I became a Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology and Head-Neck Surgery at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. In 2004, I opened a hair transplantation clinic in Cologne. Since 1996, I have been providing services in the same location in Şişli.
